Is anyone else glad that Christmas is finally over?

Does anyone else feel trapped in this wretched season?

Those of us who went to the hospital (for example) got to spend some time with children who needed a little bit of joy, and received more than our fair share in return.

If someone spends the holidays in mindless self-indulgence and selfish pursuits, I can see why they might hate this time of year. It must be a very lonely, very empty feeling.

Man o man ... if I had spent my holiday ...


I'd have been a much happier camper. I had to spend it with family = no fun.

Depends a lot on the family Emmy, but for the way you make your family sound either they are bible thumpers or have no sense of humor at all, how come you didn't just go away?

As for me, I'm starting to get a handle on this whole Eruption business, and I think I'm ready now to be the music sensation I always wanted to be.

I don't have a family, but the last few years when it was just my father and I were pretty unpleasent. I miss him now. Maybe we could have found some common ground.

Family is over-rated.

I used to love Christmas; Now I despise it.

The only shining moment of the season was this New Year's. I figured out how to shapeshift into someone who looks old enough to drink. Go me!

I never really realized how alone having no memories of my baseline life made me feel until the season hit.

Be glad you have anyone at all Emerald; even if they test you to your last nerve. Being alone sucks.

I wish I knew if I had a family.

I have to say it was a good holiday all in all.

I like to think I have one massive family. We came together to remember what the season is really about - Family and Community.

I always hated Christmas. I never got anything, even on those rare occassions we could afford it. The holidays always sucked.

Christmas never bothered me. I leave it alone it leaves me alone. Don't have reletives to fuck around with makes it even easier.

Don't worry E, I didn't do it so I could get drunk (which I think is pretty much impossible for most Novas, isn't it?) but so I could get into a few clubs to party.
