"Here they come!" He shouts to the others as he draws his MP-90. He fires off two bursts, one each at a different beast. As they get closer, he readies himself for their attack.

Two of the creatures practically explode into gore as the hail of gunfire tears through eyes and mouths and thier purple-black flesh. Two continue forward to close with the group, while the other seems intent on ingesting the remains of the fallen two.

Lily leans around Georgi, and a blue-white corona of energy flares to life around her hand. With a flinging motion, she hurls a blast of pure energy at one of the oncoming dog-things, then whirls around on the followthrough to fire again with her other hand as she comes out of the pirouette!

Lily's first shot incinerates one of the creatures, but the second misses to the right, impacting the corridor wall. It flares red as the metal is superheated, but doesn't fully melt, keeping just enough integrity to not puncture the wall. That left one oncoming creature and the other that was ingesting and absorbing the remains of the other two.

Saito scanned the incoming creatures however none of them have showed up in his sensor bank however the enemies life signs were also being read inside the Lunar Base.

"It seems that these are the same type of enemies who are attacking the Lunar Base....Combat Initiated."

Saito threw two switches forward, the engines of the Meteor flared and brought the Gundam to combat speed.

"Target Locked....fire."

The yellow energy charged in the nose of the Meteor and and the beam of energy shot forward as Saito pressed the trigger.

Misyrennies leaps with great haste behind the creature who had stopped to feed midway. Her profile was set low in the air to complete the arc without hitting the roof. Her sword was now gone from the steel ground in which it was impaled, leaving only dust.

The distance was easily closed in just a second as she landed left foot first;..Her right ankle swiveled instantly in a 180 degree angle, carrying the weight of her massive blade through

Saito's attack completely vaporized the three Demons clustered together, and that immediately attracted the attention of another dozen. They all started to pursue the Meteor, fangs and blades glinting in the unblocked sunlight.

Yua's series of attacks all connect as she becomes a veritable whirling dervish of carnage and gore, easily hacking through the still morphing creature at the back,, though it did take both strikes to completely scatter it's remains across the wall. The final creature remained surrounded by the party, but it was now in position to attack all three of them at once. Its blades rared back and prepared to scythe through everyone near it.

(((OOC Yua is behind the monster, with Georgi in front of it and Lily behind him. The creature's blades are about a meter long and can easily reach everyone in a whirlwind attack next round. Georgi it is your action, then the monster's.)))

Georgi points the submachinegun at it and holds down the trigger for a two second burst. He was to protect the princess, and he attacked with little regard for his own safety.

The last creatured died in a hail of gunfire, its blades dropping to the floor in a clatter of bone on steel. The whole corridor is uiet, leaving the trio to take in the quick and relatively easy battle..

After a few moments, the sounds of another pack can be heard heading there way, this time from the rear.

"Come on, let's move! Run towards the armory!" If Lily doesn't move fast enough, or can't keep up, Georgi grabs her and slings her over his shoulder. His weapon is in his right hand and is pointing behind them back at the noisy pack. Lily is draped over the other shoulder. Yua is out in front.

To avoid the indignity of being carried, Lily leaps up at Georgi's urging and flies down the corridor to keep up. She does keep an eye on Yua though to make sure they're not outpacing her.

As they continue moving the sounds of the creatures start up in front of them. When they all turned yet another corner, a pack was waiting this time though, they had the remains of a human strewn around them on the walls and floor. They all looked up from their meal, all ten of them with bits of human flesh and blood coating their various mouthes and fangs. Their fangs rattled as the howled and they launched into action against the party, blades already in motion.

Outside Saito was having his own problems as the growing swarm of creatures was drawing closer. Suddenly they were all around him, enveloping the Meteor and cutting into its armor. Surrounded by enemies and taking some damage the Meteor's green eyes flash golden and the lighting in the cockpit shifts to golden light. A female voice intones "Meteor Zero system activated. Cyber augmentation in process." Saito felt a sharp pinch in the base of his neck and then all thoughts beyond battle seemed to fade away. "Contact made, initiate combat protocols." There was only the enemy, only those he needed to slay. The Meteor shifted into its robot mode and crushed several of the creatures in the transformation. the rest were thrown back in a large clump, at Which Saito aimed the buster Rifle and fired. In a hellish instant the creatures vanished, and Saito rocketed off towards another swarm, his own eyes shining an irridescent hue as the Zero system cleared his mind of anything but how to fight and acheive victory.

"Get behind me, Lily!" Georgi yelled as he brought his submachinegun to bear. He surveyed his opposition for a split second before targetting two of the front three with automatic fire. A quick flip of the fire selector and he fires a single round into the third one's head. He had to start thinking about conserving ammuntion.

The first two die in a collection of shots, but the last shot misses cleanly. The rest surge past their fallen compatriots, but one remains back and absorbs them growing larger and even more blades.

Misyrennies immediately assesses the threat from behind the swarm and closes in at screaming speeds close to mach 1. She once again closes the gap instantly between her two companions and the swarm.

During said approach, she arcs her sword forwards and tilts her body from side to side during her dash to avoid the seven oncoming beasts. With battle lust in her eyes, she heads directly for the growing creature.

It comes as a shock when all Three of Yua's strikes miss cleanly, the creature seeming to sidestep each of the strikes just in the nick of time. Lily's salvo of energy bolts also misses it's intended targets.

The creatures fangs chitter with glee it seems as they engage the trio. The two Lily fired at spit a storm of spines towards her, only one hits and the spines fail to peirce her shielding, and rain down onto the floor.

Four of the creatures surge forward to attack Georgi, and all three storm over him, slicing at him and his armor in a dozen locations. Their attacks do little damage, only just barely piercing the hardened body armor and failing to pierce the lower set. Still, they're far to close for comfort.

Yua has her own proplems as she's beset not only by the one she tried to attack, but by three of the smaller ones. the larger one missed with both it's scythe-like blades, and even at a disadvantage, one of the smaller ones also missed due to the chaos of battle. The final two did not miss as their claws found Yua's armor and flesh, tearing into her left leg and right side with their claws.

"Concentrate your fire on the big one! He can't dodge us all!" Lily calls out as she unleashes another pair of blasts at the massive beast.

The larger creature is hewn awpart by Yua's three vicious attacks, but from behind she's struck by all three of the other creatures, their claws and teeth all tearing into her as all three swarm her.

Lily's blasts find the monsters hewn remains and vaporize them into a simple black smear on the wall. The two creatures again spit spines at her, but once again to no avail.

Georgi sees that Yua is taking damage, and that Lily has been attacked. The armor, combined with his toughened skin prevented their spines from even breaking the flesh. He points the pistol at the head of one of them. After sending a single round at that one, he switches his aim to another and pulls the trigger.

Misyrennies yelps suddenly as the creatures tear deep into her legs and back, but does not seem to physically be subdued due to the fact that she is berserking. Each connecting swing of her sword seems to only further empower her...the only thing keeping her alive from the constant ripping of flesh.

Georgi's shots slay the pair attacking Lily and one of the 4 attacking him immediately breaks to absorb them, leaving 3 of them once again tearing and slicing at him. One of them gets lucky and manages to strike Georgi's chest with a stinger, and starts trying to pump in chemicals to make him one of them.

She draws back like a baseball player in attempts to sunder two of them at once, swinging at them two times in wide arcs.

Seeing himself free of enemies around him, Georgi stalks towards the large one like a predator, with his weapon raised to his eye. A large grin crosses his face as he pulls the trigger.

The larger monster seems to grin as it literally jumps over the shot and lands on the wall right next to Lily, it's scorpion-like stinger poised to strike in addition to its blades.

Saito's eyes reflected the now glowing golden view screens. His hands moved the controls with an almost inhuman and fluid speed. Saito's mind was clear and crowded at the same time. Saito could see nothing but the enemy in front of him but he could also see the best and most efficient way to destroy them....many of these were techniques taught to him by his father.

Saito commanded the Meteor to fly forward into the oncoming enemy swarm. The Gundam flew faster than it's technical specs would allow it to. The Meteor flew straight into the area that was just cleared by his second shot, as soon as the mecha was through the hole the monsters immediately attempted to follow. Saito immediately turned the Meteor around to face his enemy and leveled the Buster Rifle against the attackers. After a short energy charge the shot fire and instantly vaporized the 12 monsters.

The instant after the attackers were destroyed, Saito had already holstered the rifle into the holding place behind the Meteor's shield and had drawn his sword. Saito laughed maniacally,

"You fools, no one can threaten the Earth...not as long as I am here. COLOSSAL THUNDER!!!"

In a flash, the Meteor's sword flew from it's hand and right into a group of 8 enemy monsters slicing their bodies to ribbons. As soon as the sword left the Meteor's hand, Saito shifted the machine into flight mode and flew ahead of the spinning blade. The Meteor caught the sword in one hand and the already charging Buster Rifle was going to poised to destroy another group of ten monsters.

The all too well known beam of yellow energy shot forward and destroyed the attackers leaving nothing left. Within the cockpit, an alert was showing Saito that he had some minor damage to his armor plating but Saito already knew that these minor scratches and dents would not slow down his combat so he disregarded the warning and continued the mission.

A few moments later Saito had lured the monsters into a line of eight that were following him. The Meteor turned to greet the monsters following it and brandished it's sword.

"COLOSSAL SPINNER!!"

Saito caused the Meteor to spin it's sword and dash the mecha into the group of attackers. There was very little left of the monstrous foes. After this run on the giant monsters, the Meteor was now surrounded by the remaining foes.

Another alert came on in the cockpit telling Saito that he had enough power in the Buster Rifle for two shots left. Saito knew exactly what he needed to do to eliminate the remainder of his adversaries. The Meteor leveled the Buster Rifle one last time and charged the rifle with so much power that it began to smoke until Saito fired the charged energy.

"BUSTER SWEEP!!!"

The Meteor unleashed it's energy beam and spun slowly destroying each of the monsters that surrounded it until there was nothing left execpt for a few dead bodies.

As Saito went through the sweep of death, his maniacal laughter can be heard on all open radio channels.
